Introduction
Jessie Slater (formerly Jessie Wolfhart) is the wife of Dannie Slater. She has a very timid yet kind attitude which easily allows her to gain a lot of information. She tries to get as much information about her surroundings as possible in order to protect herself and Dannie from the dangers in Los Santos.

Character Background
Back in Silver Lake, Jessie was always emotionally unstable. She had to provide for herself due to the fact it was only her and her alcoholic, gambling addicted father, August Castle, who wasn't around all that often. She had her family friend Adam Stone who helped her out in the police force but she was very back and forth mental health wise. She worked as an officer who patrolled the streets for awhile then switched into the Marshal Service where she collected taxes from people who refused to pay for long periods of time. She used her job and finding information to distract herself and keep from going to dark places. On top of losing her husband of a few months after he decided to up and vanish without a word, she began to dwindle down a dark path. When Jessie had a little incident with her dad bringing up that he found someone who might've been her mother (but wasn't), she snapped and tried to kill herself off of a bridge outside of town. Marco Holliday prevented her from jumping and saved her. She gave it a few weeks to recover then moved to Los Santos without telling her father or anyone anything other than Marco Holliday where she was going.
She moved to Los Santos with the intention of finding a new job, keeping to herself and trusting no one. She was very straight forward, independent and had a low tolerance to many things. She would also often "black out" which means she would have little to no remorse for anything or anyone. This would trigger by the smallest of things... and then she met Dannie. Dannie Slater was the light at the end of Jessie's tunnel. He was so full of life and kind and caring and compassionate and truly cared for her even though they didn't know each other for that long. Jessie fell for Dannie almost instantly but was too stubborn and hard headed to even admit that.
As Dannie and Jessie became closer, she realized that not a lot of people liked Dannie for one reason or another. With Jessie's dark passenger, every time she heard someone be rude or belittle Dannie, she would have a voice in her head to hold her back from doing anything that could hurt the other person or even Dannie or herself. This continued for a long time, every time Dannie got into a confrontation in front of her, she would have a small inner battle with the voices in her head about whether or not she should "handle" the issue in a deadly manner or if she should keep her cool to keep Dannie at ease.
Jessie and Dannie began to do everything together. Trips, events, encounters, obstacles, everything. They overcame and conquered it together or not at all. As time went on, Jessie began to become slowly involved with a bad crowd in order to gain intel which could potentially save Jessie and Dannie later on down the road. Jessie had kept a notebook for an extended period of time, back to her cop days, just to keep notes on people, places and events occurring throughout the city so if something or someone were to ever try something, she could be three steps ahead. The intention of the notebook was all for Dannie. If anything should happen to Jessie, Dannie could use the notebook as a “golden ticket” to give to the police in order to save him from any bad thing or bad person after him.
Multiple events throughout Jessie’s time in Los Santos have tested her patience and ability to be on her feet at all times for anything could happen at any given moment. She barely survived an attack from a serial killer known as Richard Oakes that was intended for Dannie Slater and not her, she reunited with her old cop friend Adam Stone who later passed away in the line of duty, she worked as an undercover “wildcard” for Timmy Macapone and his loan sharking business and more. She has been close to breaking and snapping on multiple occasions but Dannie was always there to keep her in check. Dannie is Jessie’s balance, her strength, her light and also her weakness. If anything ever happened to Dannie, it would send Jessie spiraling down a bad path and she would do anything and everything in order to protect him, just like he would do for her. Together, the two are unstoppable in more ways than one. Most of the city was blinded by their low profiles and assumed roles of “snitches” that they had no idea of the potential these two had.
